Black on Black

I was initially pretty bummed when sponsored BBW rider Ben Frank insisted upon flat black as the color for his much delayed by the painter Cross Bike. Finally getting it in hand after 2 months, a rejection, and a re-coat has made me reconsider. The gloss black graphics of the new logo just stand out and will only be apparent to those that bother to take a closer look at the bike, I’m pretty proud of what that closer look reveals in a frame that could be the last that someone really needs. CX race geometry with horizontal dropout with fender and rack mounts could be the go to for anything short of technical trail riding or a time trial. I’d hate to think of limiting myself to a single bicycle but if ever I had to, this would be the template. Except I like colors, but B. Frank is straight edge hardcore so it is understood.
