So I was asked repeatedly with much appreciated visual aids to make the latest one-off handbuilt in the cue here at BBW “Sexy”. It is destined to be a tiny road frame with an aero down tube, very short stays, and horizontal drops to do double duty as a single speed or fixed. As far as the sexy factor goes I can’t really say, but the 12 year old in me can’t help but chuckle when I think of the “tube manipulation” that went into making the “double penetrated” mono stay on this bikes “rear end”.
I’ll be spending the weekend of the great gathering of framebuilders in Austin for NAHBS working on this one and maybe getting out on the polo prototype for some court time.
Spring is coming, time to shake out those hibernation cobwebs.
